Job Title: Creative Video Editor with Social Media Expertise
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated video editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in creating engaging video content for social media platforms, i.e. Instagram (IG), Twitter, YouTube. The candidate should be comfortable working independently and have experience working as a contractor. Additionally, the candidate should be highly creative and have a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube
- Optimize videos for social media channels to increase engagement and reach
- Collaborate with our social media team to ensure that video content aligns with overall social media strategy
- Stay up-to-date with trends and developments in social media video production
- Manage video projects from conception to delivery, ensuring that all deadlines are met
- Work with client to understand their video needs and provide creative solutions
- Provide input on the overall creative direction of video content
- Work independently and with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality video content
- Report to executive director
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional video editing experience, with a focus on social media platforms
- Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices
- Highly creative with excellent storytelling skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Experience using social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working as a contractor and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- A portfolio of work that demonstrates exceptional video editing skills
