Join us and hosts Wikimedia NYC as we celebrate Wikipedia's 17th birthday with a day of programming dedicated to the worldwide projects that are taking Wikipedia to the next level.

At 11 AM-12PM pop into our panel discussion on Wikipedia as a global project.

It is a free conference and is open to all.

Wikipedia for Educators at Fordham in partnership with AfroCROWD and the Department of Records’WomensActivism.NYC digital storytelling platform will be hosting a Wikipedia Edit-a-thon on Thursday, December 6 from 4:30 to 7:30 at Fordham’s Lincoln Center. 

This event is designed to improve coverage of women of the African Diaspora on Wikipedia.  It’s also a chance to learn more about WomensActivism.NYC a crowd-sourced archive of women-identified change-makers cataloging the stories of women activists big and small.
